Multiple Powerpoints saved in folder after each edit i made

Hi - I am not sure if this is a bug issue, but I was editing a powerpoint in the app on Box, and found that it saved a version after I made each edit. As a result, I had to go back and consolidate all my edits offline. Is there an ongoing issue with MS office I may be unaware of?
