Issue with Accessing Files via Box Drive
AnsweredI am reaching out to ask about an issue I have encountered with accessing files via the local folder in Windows 10 File Explorer.
I accepted an invitation to access files on the university lab's Box account using my personal Gmail account. While I can view the files on Box.com, I'm unable to access them locally. Whenever I attempt to log in via Box Drive, it redirects me to a webpage indicating that Box is launching, but nothing appears after the launch. Consequently, I can only access the files through Box.com. These are what I have already tried but didn't work:
1. uninstalling and reinstalling the application 3 times, the problem persists.
2. I have confirmed that Box is running on my device, and I do not have Box Sync installed.
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention to this request, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I am having similar problems lately. I can not log in to Box drive but no issues to log in on Box.com. It seems to be related to latest version of Box Drive. I mean, when I download the Box Drive app from box.com, install it, it automatically starts to upgrade to newer version that does not let me to log in. I managed to use previous version of Box Drive few days back and it worked ok. But then when it upgrades, it is doomed. It is strange that official download does not give the latest version as it always upgrades after installing it.

Thank you for sharing! I completely agree with you. I just installed an older version of Box Drive from a different source instead of the official website, and the issue was fixed instantly. It would be great if the official download page could include a list of previous versions so that we wouldn't have to rely solely on the version provided by the download button.
