Lost Temporary Document

Hi all

I was editing a document in the word app locally and it didnt save on close and has disappeared from the temporary folder in Box Edit. Its not in trash anywhere.

I can see an old shortcut to it but it now says document has disappeared.

Is it gone forever?

Or is there a way to get this from the servers?
