Can an administrator who has SSO account create new users and groups via Content API?

I know that Content API is used to manage box users and groups. If I have a box SSO account from my organization and if I have administrator privileges , can I create users and groups via Content API ? And then how do I provide password for that new user?

   Yes, you can create both users and groups with the API. As you mentioned, these API calls will need an access token scoped to an Admin.

   

  When you make the API call to create a new user, you will need to provide an email address for that user. After you make that API call, the user will be sent an email with a link to create a password for their account.
