Folder Created via API does not display on Box

I created a new folder under root folder using the API. I see the folder name printed on the console. But the new folder does not display in the Box application

  With this information, it is difficult to say what can be happening.
  
  Are you using the same user, on both the API and the Box UI? Are you using a tech/app user?
