Web Services use to grab metadata between BOX and other apps

Hi All,

 

I want to know, what web services can be use to connect between BOX and scanning image applicatio like Kofax for instance?

 

After I scanned document in scanning/imaging apps, I want to grab the metadata to be exported to BOX .Current practice, I only manage to export the file scanned without the metadata. 

 

Anyone know what web services used to do this?

  This looks like a fairly old item - but I would like to know if anyone has experience in using Kofax Import Connector (KIC) to access a Box folder to ingest documents.  Not sure if there is an API that handles this activity... Anyone?
