Run script before uploading a file

Hi all,

 

I'd like to know if there is a way to automate box so that it run a script on each file before it get uploaded to make sure it has a certain name format and reject to upload it if it doesn't have that specific format?

  Hey , 

   

  Unfortunately that is not possible to have a preset script run from the Box Web App to check file name structure before upload. However, would love to hear what your use case is and if you are building a custom app. Something like this I envision can definitely be achieved with custom regex script in conjunction with the Box Content Uploader here. However, I recognize that this is custom development and maybe less than ideal.
