Determining what permissions other users have for a file I own

I note from another thread in this forum that it's possible to determine what permissions the "current user" has for a given file by using the permissions field on the GET https://api.box.com/2.0/files/file_id endpoint. Where I am an owner of a given file, I can't seem to find an easy way of determining, where I have a list of userIds, or email addresses of other users, what access they have to that file. I'd like to be able to answer the question: "Can all these users download and/or preview my file"? Is that possible?

  Hey ,

   

  The closest thing you'd be able to do is get collabs on the parent folder and then check the role. That's the most common way to check permissions, is via collaborations.
