Get shared link for publicly hosted box data

Hi, I am attempting to write a python script using the box python sdk to download data from here.
While the examples available on the box api documentation page for python allowed me to write a script to download files hosted on my own box account by creating a shared link for it, I am not entirely certain how to create a shared link for the publicly hosted files.
Could someone please help me out/point me to the right resources?

The link you posted (https://nrcs.app.box.com/v/naip) actually is a shared link — you should be able to use it just like you would any other to retrieve the shared folder and its contents.
