metadata search mdfilter by date field

Has anyone tried using the search API to search by a date range with a date field inside the metadata. I am looking at the Box examples and it does not provide any references, only exact value matches.

  Hi  we don't have a solution for this currently, but we have a solution coming for this very soon. If you could DM me I can help you out.
