getResponseCode() is 409 and getResponse() returns invalid chars,api to existing folder upload fail

Hi,

We are getting getResponseCode() value as 409 (as the root folder already exist), however exception.getResponse() call returnes some invalid characters, because of these invalid character values , rest of the code to upload the file in the existing folder is failing, the same code was working earlier and started failing since last 2 weeks.

Please suggest , as this is causing all the users in the organization to not able to access those files which are supposedly uploaded.
