why is that folders created by app user within the app cannot be seen in the BOX website?
I wrote the code today and tested it to create the nested folder levels beneath the root folder and do it through the app. The app was receiving return values from Box that led me to believe the folders are being created in Box, even though I cannot see them when I log into my user and look via the web interface.
Those tests were being run on an iOS emulator on my Macbook and the folders were pulling back down to the app like they were on Box…even though I still couldn’t see them through the web interface.
So then I logged into the app through my iPhone, which has NOT been connected to the Macbook and those folders had pulled down locally onto the app on that device as well. And since those folders had only been on the Macbook emulator and potentially up on Box, it confirms that the folder (at least the ones created at the root level) are indeed there on Box.
So the question is this:
why is that folders created by the ***@example.com app user within the app cannot be seen when I log into the Box website as ***@example.com and look to see if those folders are there?

There is no UI in Box for App Users. The App User user model is designed to be interacted with through the API.
If you add a Managed User as a collaborator to the App User's folder with the content you need to verify, then the Managed User will be able to see this content in the Box UI.

Where would one find the App User foldersWe cannot seem to use the app user's log in to get into the Box.com siteWhat do you think the issue might be?
We cannot see any App user info on the Box.com sitefrom the admin or user console or anywhere else
Where do we find the AppUSer foldersWe know they have been created by our app because we can see them on our devices. But we cannot see them anywhere in the BOx.com file structure
