Limiting search scope

I'm using the embed widget on our intranet, and I'd like to leverage the search capability, but would like it only to apply to the embedded folder and its children.  Is there a way to configure that?

  When you submit a search request, you can include an "ancestor ID", which indicates the top-level folder that the search should start at.
