How to problematically (.Net) download from External Folder via JWT
Hi,
I have a Box.com account that was created for me by a sister university. They added me as an Editor to the folder on box. Therefore when I login via a browser I can see the external folder that I was invited to collaborate in and interact with it. However, I need to download files placed into this folder on a regular basis. I don't want to do this manually anymore. I want to create a .Net (C#) program that that uses the API and can check for new files and automatically download them.
I created a custom app, generated the RSA keys, and authorized it under business settings. I can get that working, however, there are no folders for it to download from. When I go the the Admin Console Content Manager the External Folder is listed under my user. The application is listed in content manager but it can not see the External Folder because it is owned by an external collaborator and it can only be viewed by users they are collaborating with. I'm guessing my app has to somehow be authorized by the folder owner but I'm not sure what if anything else needs to happen since my app is not a typical user and would be using JWT Auth and not a browser.
How can I get my custom application to see and interact with the External Folder problematically as if it was me connecting via a browser?
Thanks.
