Require an API to list all sub folders within a given box folder by name

Hi , 

I am new to this forum.

The requirement is to identify sub folder within a Box Folder which starts with some given character.

eg: if I have a folder structure like "xxx\D1-A50001-00 Dev", and try to create another folder with name "D1-A50001-00 Doc" within ''xxx\'', it will check the first part of the name

"D1-A50001-00", and throw error.

so, basically I need an API which gives me the List of all Folders within a given Folder , say ''xxx''.

 

can someone please provide some solution on this

  There is a method on the API that retrieves all the objects within a folder (files and folders). That is probably the one you need: https://developer.box.com/v2.0/reference#get-a-folders-items
