Retrieve File Id from box through WebDAV

Is there a way i can configure box to return File & Folder Ids when using WebDAV?

  To clarify the requirement, I have to provide an option to open the file in box application for other actions such as commenting, etc... My assumption is that i can use the file/folder id and prefix the app url to open the file.
