How to forward preview urls and download urls from server to client?

I have a client app that implements search of pictures stored in box. Now I want to run a search on my server and then forward the results to the client, in particular the preview of the results. From other APIs I could just forward the CDN cache results preview.

 

Is there a way to achieve this in box?

 

Or does the client need to authenticate in box and search on his own?

  Hey janmechtel,

   

  We do not host unauthenticated customer content from our CDNs. You will need to perform a search using our Search API and then use any of these options to view the content:

  • Thumbnail API (https://developer.box.com/reference#get-a-thumbnail-for-a-file)
    • Simple thumbnail of file - works with images and documents
  • Preview API (https://developer.box.com/reference#get-embed-link)
    • Iframe preview of the file - works for all file types that Box supports previews of
  • Preview Element (https://developer.box.com/docs/box-content-preview)
    • Same as above, but can be used inline and has more customization
  • Representations API (https://developer.box.com/reference#representations)
    
    • Various converted representations of the file - you can also get a thumbnail here. This will also return the different converted representations of documents, videos, and other file types that Box supports
