Will the new version upload response always include version information?

Good afternoon!

 

In the part about uploading new file versions in the API reference, the example server response upon a successful new version upload doesn't include any version information. When I test it, however, it seems like the response file object always includes a file_version attribute with a "hybrid" between the full and minified file version objects (containing only type="file_version", id and sha1). 

 

Can I safely assume that this attribute will always be present when uploading a new file version? The example File object includes this information, so I would feel pretty comfortable assuming so, I just want to be 100% certain.

  The docs are a little bit out of date, thanks for pointing that out we will definitely include the file_version object in the example response, but yes you can assume that this will come back when making a upload file version call.
