Restrict partners to view documents - What API should we use to restrict them to view folders/files

We have a feature requirement on box.com where we want to restrict partners for a given company to view each others folders and files.

 

For e.g a company named ABCinc has two partners, ABCinc wants to restrict both partners to view files that are uploaded on box.com, what API should we use to get this functionality?

 - Group of people working for ABCinc (has partner A and partner B), 'partner A' should not see the folders associated to ‘ABCinc’ for ‘partner B’ and vice versa.

 

What API can be leveraged to get the above functionality achieved.

    Hello ,

    I am not sure I have completely understood your requirement.

     

    At the end, you can create two different root folders named PartnerA and PartnerB and you will assign users / groups to each folder and that way you are limiting who have access to each folder. If the users are not invited to the folders from the other partner actively by somebody they won't be able to see anything.
