Automating "Exporting Folder Trees" Functionality

Hello Box Developers,

I've found the following functionality of Box's Admin Console very helpful:

It navigates the entire directory tree and produces an Excel report with rows for all files and folders in the directory, including their name, file type, and Box ID (among other information).

I would like to automate calls to this process in a script. Would that be at all possible using Box's developer tools?

My native language is Python and I am using this SDK:

...but a solution using any language would be greatly appreciated!
