Increasing download Bandwidth for Shared Links

Hi,

Will adding users for the purpose of increasing download bandwidth for shared links immediately increase bandwidth by 2TB, even in the middle of the month?

  Thanks for reaching out. Adding users to your enterprise won't increase your "overall" bandwidth, because bandwidth for Box (https://community.box.com/t5/How-to-Guides-for-Account/Understand-How-Box-Measures-Bandwidth-Usage/ta-p/44) is measured on a per-user basis for the content owner.

   

  In other words, if you have content owned by User A, adding Users B, C, and D won't affect User A's bandwidth.

   

  Out of curiosity, what is the use case for exceeding 2 TB of download bandwidth for a single user during a month? What kind of work are you doing, and how does Box fit into it?
