I use box.com and I use FileMaker. If I have to share big documents with a customer of mine, I send them the link (on BOX) to the file instead of using retransfer or something like that. It's often the same file, so I thought: would it be possible to store te link in my database and then I can grap it easily (maybe compose the mail with an AppleScript).

 

So, is there a possibility to grap the weblink of a file on Box with AppleScript?

  Hi ,

   

  To ensure I fully understand, you're saying that you are storing large files on Box and want to save a link to that file in your database using AppleScript?

   

  If that's the case, then you'll essentially want to create and save a shared link for the file. We don't have any direct AppleScript samples but that linked guide should provide you information on what you'll need to do.
