Search does not returns some files, but not others.
I have an 'individual' account. When I use search function, the results are inconsistent. For some files in my folder if I use a part of the file name as a search term, the file name is not returned in the search results. If the search term is unique, I get a message saying 'There are no items matching your query'. I have checked other posts in this community. These files were added some time ago so it's not a case of waiting 10 minutes for the indexing to take place. I have 1,431 files in my folder, and I do not know how many files cannot be found in this way. The files have a numerical prefix so if I sort them by name, I can find the files in the sequence that search is not finding. I have also tried text search for these examples that can't be found by searching for their number, and the text search is not successful either. Please help. Thanks.

Hi all, in general this means the search index is experiencing a delay. We recommend waiting 10 minutes, yet this can sometimes take a bit longer. If you are seeing consistent inconsistencies (yes I just wrote that) then please contact support as they can help re-index your files.
In the meanwhile, please be aware that we are working on big search improvements at the moment to fix these kind of issues. We've heard your feedback and we're working hard to resolve these issues as soon as possible.

I thought we lost a bunch of files - but it was just a search problem. For example, we have a folder "20181103PicturesFromDockDemoTedNesse" and searches for "Dock", "dock", "demo" returned "no results". The search is set for any file type, any time, with no owner specified. The search originates in the folder containing the folder being sought, and the checkbox to limit to that folder is unchecked. Any suggestions?

searching in a box is a farce !!! I have file with name plp12345.id on my box. I type in "search": %lp12345%, box finds nothing!!!!!!! but when write %plp12345 result is file plp12345.id. Same ituation is using * insted of %. Since forever * (or%) has marked an arbitrary string so abcdlp12345.efghijk matches to *12345*. BUT not in box . What's going on in this goddamn world. The most important function of computerization - searching (after all google.com started on this, 90% of work with the browser starts 'seartch'). But no ..... box does not cover it.
To sum up. I have to keep my resources in the box. But what if I can't find anything because the search works randomly.

Same problem. Some folders show up in search, some don't. I called and they told me it was a browser issue. When I asked what the preferred browser was I was told "any browser really." I have tried 3 different browsers and the same problem persists with all of them. This is nonsense. I cannot expect clients to dig through 1,300 folders to find what they need.
