Access to Box Folders by a multi-user software

Hello, first the context, question follows...
- our software: composed of several pieces like web-server, desktop app and even scripts.
- our users: several unrelated users, they login our web-server, configure and use our software conccurently and have their assets in a Box(.com) Folder tree.

What is the (minimal) set of "things" (access-tokens?) each user will have to "give" our software in order to "work" with the assets (list, upload, download and monitor with an EventStream).

Ideally, a user should be able to grant our software read and/or write access to subtrees of his Box Folder tree and also to revoke.

  Hey Jacques, 

  You are correct that an access token will enable your users to access Box content via your application. This token will last for 60 minutes and then will need to be refreshed using a refresh token.
