Redrect options (multiple actions needed)

We've integrated Box.com API to read users' files from box after consent from a user.

Inside our application, we have multiple user actions that require interaction with Box API.

For example, the user may press a button "Find PDF files in Box" or a button "Read all empty folders"

The question is: when Box redirects a user back into our application, how can we distinguish which action the user tried to perform before that to perform this particular operation?

I read through the forum and found that there is no possibility to add multiple redirect URIs, but maybe there is another way? Adding some additional GET parameters to URI that will be returned when the user will be redirected back? 
Any ideas?
