Download files in trashed directory using API

Dear community, 

How can I download the files in trashed directory using API?
So far I've found a way to download the files themselves, but the same method didn't work for the files in directory.

trashbox

 - file a [<- could be downloaded]

 - directory B

   - file b [<- could NOT be downloaded]
