My company's use case for box.com is that files are manually copied into local folders, on their desktops, which are the automatically uploaded/synced to box.com.

Is there a methodology where box.com will call a custom url when a file has finished uploading?

  Hey Aaron,

  You could use a webhook and watch for a file upload in a set folder, which will send an event notification to a callback url of your choice: https://developer.box.com/reference/resources/webhook/.
