Remote API returned authorization error: Access denied - insufficient permission

Looking for assistance.  

I have created an app, authorized etc ... everything working fine, until a few days ago.  

I know of know changes having been made.  Was previously able to request access token using client ID and secret.  Now same approach fails, w/ "insufficient permissions".  

Kinda at the end of my rope here.  Assistance appreciated.
