Creating a BOX App is owned by my user, how to create an App owned by functional UserID ?
AnsweredI have successfully created a BOX 'custom App' that worked for years perfectly. I am using the BOX API to upload and download files between BOX folders and Windows Server file system via Windows scheduled jobs developed in PowerShell.
Anything done via the API is 'tagged' with my personal userID / name (I ordered the BOX App), I would like to create an BOX App owned by a Functional UserID, in stead of my personal UsderID, but so far I have not found how to do that.
Is that possible ?
Can I transfer an existing App to be owned by a Functional UserID ?

Hello Johnny,
This is due to the access token you're using to make API calls. Technically speaking, you don't need to make a whole new app or even transfer ownership to correct this, but I can give you directions on that if you'd still like to do it. You just need to obtain an Access Token for whatever use you want to make the API calls instead. Are you using a developer token by chance?
