Solved Problem : Box Drive login window hanging
I had to replace my main hard drive. After reinstalling Windows 10 Pro, I tried to reinstall the Box Drive desktop app after I had downloaded the msi file.
The installation procedure ran without error messages, but exited to the "Login to Box Drive" window, where it hung without ever populating the window with the login fields.. I had to kill the window from Task Manager.
I tried again to start Box, and got the same result.
Scouring the support forum, it seemed that the steps to manual reset Box (https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697494-Using-Box-Drive-Basics) might work, so I did them.
As none of the search strings I tried on the support forum led directly to that solution, I am submitting this post to hopefully lead other users more quickly to the solution.
