loss of access to some files & interruption of use with various programs
Hello,
I recently migrated to Box, and everything was working fine until last Friday. I updated Box with the most recent version on Friday. I then later in the day "ejected" Box by dragging it to the trash on my Mac (10.13.6) and restarted Box, since I am new to it I wanted to understand what this functionality does. Since I both updated and explored "ejecting" the Box in the same day I don't know if one or both of these is the source of my problem.
Since then I have had problems:
1) When using Mathematica it will regularly tell me the file was accessed from elsewhere and forcefully moves me to a new filename which can break my workflow.
2) Trying to move files drag and drop style can stall and sometimes do nothing at all with no explanation.
3) Trying to move files using the terminal frequently results in the warning "Resource temporarily unavailable"
4) TeXShop (a GUI for Latex) will suddenly freeze, delete all the text from the editor and drop everything. Fortunately if I don't type or save I can recover the lost text.
Does anyone have any idea what's happening here? Is this the new version, or has something else glitched? I'm considering trying to uninstall and reinstall Box as previously it worked with no issues. This is very difficult because of problems 2) and 3) above.
Thanks for any help!
edit: I've also tried restarting the computer this problem is occurring on. My other computer is not having this issue.
