I had to boot in safe mode and then disable Box from startup which got both systems performing as they should. I have now also deleted the Box app.

I am new to Box.  Trying it out and VERY disappointed in their support and quality.  The update, which I seem to have no control over accepting, is a disaster!  When installed, Box fails to launch and causes all kinds of issues for any application attempting to access the files.  Not only do the applications stop working, but the files are no longer available.  I uninstalled Box and manually cleaned the registry/files.  Reinstalled the download version.  Everything was working fine until the message that Box was upgrading to the latest version.  Now it has started all over again.  Guess I have to sign up for Dropbox again.  I was really hoping this would work but after a week on Box, I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy (well, perhaps there are a few people I would recommend it to!).

    I'm having similar issues.

Twice now, when there's an update for Box drive, I get 1000s of box drive error notifications. I then have to wait for them to finish so I can access the icon in the tray, right click, and update. It 'successfully' updates, but then never ends up reconnecting. Until I uninstall the whole thing and and then reinstall.

    Dell Precision, Windows 10.
