Can't change permission on some users
I am co-owner in a box folder and one of the users is listed as a 'Viewer' and I want to change him to editor but it is'grayed out' where you would normally change permission. A bunch of them it looks like I can change, but then some are gray. How do I get him editor access?

Hi Brendan,
Welcome to the Box Community! I'm happy to help.
When inviting a person as a collaborator within a folder, you have the ability to set the level of access that person has to your content. Refer to the following chart to review the different permissions that accompany each permission level.

I am also having this specific issue - one of my co-owners can edit the permission level of some collaborators in her folder but others are greyed out. The help articles suggest that if the option is greyed out that the user might not have the appropriate permission level to edit another user's permission/access level, however, as a co-owner, surely they should (ref the help article on understanding collaborator permission levels)? So, what else is driving whether or not a co-owner can change another user's permission level? And importantly, how can I change it!
