Question on Content Picker License
We are planning on using the Content Picker to allow user to pick files and folders which they may want to transfer to another location via our application backend.
So whats the question ?
We are confused about the licensing. It states :
- Developer shall ensure the Developer Application displays prominently, and made apparent to each end-user of the Developer Application, the following notice and disclaimer in full:
"Copyright 2017 Box, Inc. All rights reserved.
This product includes software developed by Box, Inc. ("Box")
ALL BOX SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED.
IN NO EVENT SHALL BOX BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL,
SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT
LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF USE,
DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY
THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT
(INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE
OF THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
See the Box license for the specific language governing permissions
and limitations under the license."
The main Question
If we download and use the content picker js as a part of our angular application or inject the CDN url application website (Angular based) what license is applicable to content picker ? (Non React) ?
I am not sure what exactly is to be done here. Is some message supposed to be 'displayed' anywhere to the end user. It will look odd if we show this to end user. Any idea what is needs to comply to this licensing
