Does Box Support Adding E-signaure Fields Without Assignning Recipients ?

For our Box sign integration, we need to be able to create a template that has signature fields created or laid out WITHOUT assigning the recipients and yet to have the recipients receive the sign request doc with the signature fields APPEAR in the doc. Is this possible? It looks like currently, we have to assign each signature-related field to a recipient, else the box appears red and the recipient will not see those fields when a request is sent. Those fields do not populate in the mailed doc as we expect, Instead, they are asked to create a signature field manually. Is there a workaround for this? because for our use case here,  we don't always know the recipients when we create a signing template.
