Bonus for downloading the mobile app

I received an email saying: Download the Box Mobile app in August and get a bonus 10GB of storage for free etc. So, I downloaded the Android app, logged in and nothing happened. What does it mean? It was spam? It was just advertising?

  I got the same email, on July 26. Downloaded the app but no bonus 10 GB.
