Open a collaboration

I was sent a link to collaborate in a Box folder.  When I clicked on the link I was asked to create a Box account, which I did.  Once in the account there was no collaboration folder.  I tried clicking on the link again but it then told me the email address was already associated with a Box account.  I need to know how to access the file from the collaboration link??
