Duplicate folders appearing - Sync problem?
Hello - Our group has several hierarchical box folders (as I'm sure everyone does).
Just recently we noticed that several duplicate folders had been created along with their children folders. They all have 0 files in them. For example, in "Main Folder" we have "Folder 1"; "Folder 1.1"; "Folder 2" ; "Folder 2.1" and so forth. And they are all populated with the files as we expect.
The new duplicate folders show up as "Folder 1 (username@xx.com)" "Folder 1.1 (username@xx.com)", etc.
The (username@xx.com) was appended, I assume to distinguish it from a folder with the same name.
We contacted the person that owns the username and she did not do anything knowingly to create or copy those folders. She does use BoxSync and I'm told we've seen some weird things happen with BoxSync.
Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
Thank you for your help.

We saw this as well. We are using Box Drive. We have an Access database that we do work in. We copy this database down locally, work in it and then upload it. A co-worker left for a few days and thought he had completed upload of the file. He copied the file and in Windows file explorer showed it had completed. Box Drive of course still had to sync the file to the cloud. He shut down and left. I then had to work in the file, did the download as normal and uploaded and it sync'd back up. When he returned we had a file with his email in the name. What we figured out that happened was that he did not let the Box Drive transfer to complete and it did once he returned. Since I had download and uploaded a new version, it created the copy.
