Box for Salesforce Sandbox v3.8 upgrade

We wanted to give you a heads up that the changes outlined below are coming your way. We have just pushed version 3.80 and upgraded your sandboxes for you to test these changes before we can make them available to you in production.

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where some users were unable to send Box Sign via “Use a file in Box” option.

  • Fixed issue with Standard objects that do not use the name field, such as Contracts

  • Fixed sync button under box settings. Modified the batch sync to run under System mode instead of user mode.

  • Fixed error when installing the app when some fields were set to encrypted.

Enhancements:

  • Added error message when user logs in with user account that doesn’t match service account domain.

  • In Box Settings tab > Content Settings > Box Enterprise Sub-Domain settings, instructions modified to give more clarity.

    When is 3.80 going to be GA for production? We are blocked on a deployment this weekend as our sandbox classes are now dependent on 3.80 but we have 3.75 installed in production with no way to upgrade.
