I've not had any trouble. Box already moved away from the older tech that Dropbox and OneDrive use that's causing some issues for them so things should "just work" and so far that's been my experie...

You should see an item in your Finder sidebar for Box which lets you access your files similar to other locations like 'Recents', 'Desktop', etc... Do you see that? It may appear under 'Locations'.
