Box and Adobe have forged a strong partnership over the past decade, enhancing productivity for businesses by integrating Box within Adobe’s document and creative tools within the Box platform. Previously, we released Adobe Express for Box as the default image editor for Box, which brought the power of Adobe’s best-in-class creative content tools to Box, enabling customers to edit images in Box.
We’re excited to bring you the next step of this joint release by enabling users to create new images from text directly in Box using Adobe Express.
When enabled users will be able to use the image creation option from the “New” file drop down which will open Adobe Express. After entering a prompt, any reference images, size, type, and style parameters, Adobe Express will bring your idea to life. Creating a set of images for you to choose from and allowing you to save your images back to Box.
Admin activation will be required for this application. No additional Adobe licenses or seats are required to use this feature, however users must log-in or create a free Adobe account.

The Box Connector for Microsoft Graph allows Box and Microsoft customers to index Box data so it appears in Microsoft 365 experiences. By enabling this integration, Microsoft 365 users can discover Box content from Microsoft Search, Microsoft 365 app, or Microsoft copilot. If a user selects a Box search result, they will be directed to the content they need in Box and based on their permissions.
We previously announced an increase to the file and user limits for the Graph Connector. In this latest enhancement, we have made updates to the email address limitation. Previously, a user's Box email had to match their User Principal Name (UPN) in Microsoft to use the Graph Connector. Now, customers who do not meet this requirement can still utilize the integration by adding a Microsoft email alias that matches their Box email address. The Graph Connector will then index content for that user.
This change will be applied automatically; just ensure you set an alternate email alias that matches your Box email address.

This change is now being extended to all existing customers as well, ensuring that everyone will have a new file limit of 100,000 files. These updates will be applied automatically, requiring no further action from your end.

Recently, we made changes to support the new Admin Delegated Authorization feature for the Box for Microsoft Teams integration. As a result, all customers will now need to accept additional permissions the next time they use the Box for Microsoft Teams app, regardless of whether the feature is enabled or not. These new permissions are similar to the ones already required by the app.
This is a one-time requirement and it will not impact your overall experience with the integration. Once these permissions are granted by the Admin, the user can continue enjoying the same seamless Box for Microsoft Teams experience. Alternatively, you can choose to consent on behalf of all users.
Please note that accepting these permissions alone does not enable the Admin Delegated Authorization feature. To enable this feature, the Admin needs to enable it from the Box Admin Console. More information can be found here.
