Box Status

I can't open the pdf eReview file on my computer

On app.box.com I click "Open this file on your computer". A few seconds later, I see a message saying that I don't have the right to open it on my computer. I have the latest version of BoxTools installed on my computer. I've tried to reinstall the application, but it didn't help. What do I do?

    May we know what collaborator permission do you have on this file? Are you the owner, an editor or viewer?

    Also, can you send us a screenshot of the message that you encounter so we can take a closer look?

    I'm attaching a screenshot. The message is in Russian (I'm using a Russian version of Windows 10), here's the exact translation:

    "Can't open. You don't have enough rights to open the file. Contact the owner of the file and request access".

    I'd be grateful for any help.
