Spaces at the end of file names interfere with uploading

I'm uploading via FTP a lot of files(gigabytes) to Box. It is very time consuming to identify files that didn't upload to Box because of a space at the end of the file name. Does anyone have a script or utility that would check a group of folders and remove any spaces at the end of file names either while uploading or before?
