Mobile editing for Google docs stored on Box

Hello—have an issue/question that has been nagging me for several months now.

If a Google doc is stored on Box, it can be easily edited on a desktop. However, is there a mobile editing solution for this scenario, such as on a tablet or smartphone? It seems I've been unable to find one.

If a Google doc is stored on Google Drive or Workspace, the document can be easily edited on the Google Doc app. If a Word doc is stored on Box, it can be edited using the Microsoft mobile app. But I haven't been able to find a way to edit a Google doc stored on Box on a mobile device. Am I missing something, or is this indeed a current missing part of the equation?

As of this message, to edit Google docs through mobile devices is a current limitation on Box. This is subject for feature request and feel free to send your feedback and upvote here.

Our product team reviews all submissions and will consider whether to include feedback in their product roadmap.
