Keep getting upload errors when uploading files

I am in the progress of up loading a large amount of files but keep getting errors.
I have over 6000 files totalling 51gb and unable to drop large folders so now moving 30 files trying to avoid errors and upload failures, which is driving crazy!
Unfortunately after a period of time I am unable to unload a single file due to errors. Files do not progress past 0%. This happened over the weekend but was able to upload files today but now has stopped.
There is no issue with the broadband speeds.
How to I avoid the upload errors, anyone can help?
