Creating Metadata for folder in Box

Hi there, I'm not able to apply a metadata to the folder. however , I can see the metadata templates on the files not on folder. I tried to make an API call to apply metadata to the existing folder on Box but it said 404 folder id not found.

I used JWT access tokens
