File disappeared after external user becomes managed user?

I must have done something wrong. I have an external user, she created a folder and moved a bunch of files from another folder, she hit the quota limit and I thought I'd moved her to managed user so that she can have more space. 

I did that and she became Managed user now, however she can no longer see the folder she created (back when she was an external user) which she moved many files to and all the files she moved.

I'm confused and very worried we lost all those files. Can someone help?

    Hi Emma, yes. Just wait it out. It showed up after like 2 hours. My staff was moving like 10Gb of files so it takes time. Nothing is lost.
