Metadata of shared folder with other tenants

Hi there,

I think I'll upgrade my account to Business Account to use metadata. But I want to ask something about metadata.

 I share my folder with external collaborators, and they have edit permission in my shared folder. The file of shared folder is applied metadata, but external collaborators is in the other tenants, so I think they can't use metadata to search advanced in their tenants.

If they create the same metadata template in their tenants, they can use metadata to search advances in my shared folder?

    External collaborators will be able to see metadata, but they will not be able to search on that metadata through the Box UI.  It might be possible to do through the APIs, though.
