question about searching within excel files

Hi,

I am unable to find text within excel files when i search a list of excel files. I can search and find the file names, but not inside files.

Is there something I need to do to enable this feature?

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    The ability to search within contents of your Files in Box actually depends on your type of account.

    Content search is only available to Business accounts and higher plans as found HERE:

    • "Indexed Text per Document: The Box search index stores up to 10,000 bytes (~10,000 characters in English) per document for accounts from Business level and above. This amount can vary from document to document because of language, Box’s indexing method, and document type."

    Hi I have a business account (IBM) and I know that the search term exists within an excel file, however, the box search is not picking that up. Can you please help?

    Any response to this issue?  I am having the same issue and I am IBM employee. I assume that I have a business account, how can I check my account type?
