Going back to the previous page without starting all the way back at the top every time

    To make this a little easier for you, you can try sorting your files and folders by Name, Updated, or Size. You just need to click the appropriate header to sort.

    I am asking the same question as Patrick.  When you go 'back' it is always to the top of the page, not where I was working, it is extremely annoying to have to scroll down to the place I was working.  Sorting the folders as suggested does not address the question as stated.

    I have the same question. One of the reasons why the answer doesn't suit is because it is still time-consuming and also because that option doesn't work if the folder you were just in wasn't modified, just accessed. I'm surprised a solution wasn't created since this question was asked. It's terribly time-consuming if you're doing revision work and have a really long list of folders to check. If we were able to go back to the last spot we were on, but needed to go back to the top, we would just need to press "Home" on the keyboard.

    I don't know if this helps you, Patrick, but in my case, it was a good alternative, which I found on another thread. Instead of going back, you can open each folder in a new tab by pressing ctrl (command for Mac) and clicking on the folder name.
